If rations will not be more readily available, it disincentivizes exploration for exploration's sake. (Yes, you could still take long rests for 10 gold in the inn, but that doesn't help a starving party in the middle of the Badlands.)Īgree with the points made above. Maybe the tavern/inn should provide food and sell rations as well, in our opinion. Regarding the fact that this is quite a large city, there should be more than one single shop that sells some rations. Please consider changing this, food rations should be sold in bigger amounts and respawn more frequently. We bought ten rations at the beginning of our journey, that was all we could ever get.
Our adventure took several in-game weeks, and the store in the city was still not offering any more rations when we returned. There might be a chance to gather food while travelling or even looting rations from fallen enemies, but it is never enough to serve the whole party, and most of the time, we travel for several days without being able to find any food. We barely made it back from our last adventure, having run out of food on the way and fighting monsters with our bare minimum cantrips and other at-will powers, because we were unable to take a long rest. Unfortunately, our party cannot hope to reach our next destination on the map, because we are out of rations, and so is every store in Caer Cyflen, apparently. As such, we ask you not to be shy - if there are bugs you'd like to see squashed, features you'd like to get implemented or tweaks you'd like to see added, come and tell us!
